Peterson Satellite was founded in the spring of 1997 by Steve and Renee Peterson.
After being a successful home based business for seven years, steady sales growth and the need for customer relations led the Petersons to acquire property in Medford, WI. There they were able to expand their sales even further and offer Alltel wireless and accessories, Dish Network, Direct TV, Wild Blue (satellite internet service), Hughes Net, any many popular name brand TVs.

In 2006 they expanded their business once more and acquired property in Abbotsford WI. There they offer Alltel wireless and accessories, Dish Network, Direct TV, Wild Blue (satellite internet service) Hughes Net, and party supplies. They also had built 56 storage units of various sizes located in Abbotsford known as, S&R Storage.
